Missoula Community Radio (MCRFM.org) is a community-based effort to bring a revolutionary voice to the public airwaves of Missoula and beyond. Our intention is to broadcast over the local FM airwaves as well as the Internet, promoting community interests, alternative ideas and great music—while also providing a vital communication link for all Missoulians.
What a great development for Missoula… so lucky that a committed group of broadcasters is working to bring some strong and diverse voices to the public airwaves.
Best of luck with the application window. Go MCRFM, Go!

Misssoula needs this, and I bet I’m not the only person who is willing to put up 10 bicks a month to have a truly independant radio station. One that reflects the needs, interests and the spirit of our very special community.
Thanks, Gavin! Keep up the good work at KAOS, and we look forward to posting some made-in-Montana audio soon on the new NW Radio site. See you at the FCC hearings in Seattle!
We must win this license. This will take place. The most important source of real journalism is radio, the last free airwaves so that folks can be included in the dialogue going on in Washington DC
This will be ours soon, and with it the responsibility of getting along, such a diverse group of radicals, so many tempers, so many idealistic dreams to achieve – all placed on one little broadcast number, in a backwards state in a corrupt and uncaring nation.
But its gotta happen, happen this time, maybe this time – we’ll win.
Totally support this effort but would like to advise that you place some contact information on this site , both email and regular, so folks can get plugged in.
